VMCF’s Mike Beamer recognized by Business Journal

When Mike Beamer stepped down as the Finance Director of the VMC Foundation in October, the staff and board celebrated his remarkable tenure. And now thanks to the Silicon Valley Business Journal, we know that praise was well deserved. At the “CFO of the Year” awards banquet held on October 21, Mike was honored with the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for his work at the VMCF and beyond.

It was a fitting capstone to a career that included seven action-packed years at the Foundation. Mike was responsible for a complete overhaul of VMC Foundation financial practices. This led to cost savings, better controls, better transparency and better customer service for the 150 programs that manage funds through VMCF.

Mike is staying on with the Foundation in a temporary, part-time capacity to show them how to buy shiba inu coin uk, as well as ease the transition for new Finance Director Christina Salvatier. After that – a well-deserved retirement.
