Sharks Pediatric Clinic at VMC to be unveiled Friday, March 23

Join Dan Boyle, Brent Burns, Patrick Marleau,* Doug Wilson and the VMC Foundation for the unveiling of the Sharks Pediatric Clinic at Valley Health Center Tully in San Jose on Friday, March 23.

For nearly a year, the Sharks Foundation and VMC Foundation have been working  to transform one of VMC’s largest community clinics into a fun and engaging Sharks themed environment that will promote wellness and healthy living.  With support from the Sharks Foundation and other generous donors, and the expertise of ANDERSON BRULÉ ARCHITECTS, INC., the new center will help VMC continue it’s mission of providing quality healthcare to all children in Santa Clara County, regardless of ability to pay.

EVENT DETAILS

WHAT: The Sharks Foundation has teamed-up with the Valley Medical Center Foundation to create a San Jose Sharks-themed pediatric clinic at a Santa Clara Valley Medical Center clinic located on Tully Road in San Jose. The Sharks-themed pediatric clinic, which includes a Sharks-themed children’s play area, Sharks-themed décor throughout the clinic and examination rooms that will feature Sharks loveable mascot S.J. Sharkie, will officially open at a special ceremony to be held on Friday, March 23 at 12:45 p.m.

WHO: Sharks players Dan Boyle, Brent Burns and Patrick Marleau are scheduled to join Sharks General Manager Doug Wilson and members of the Sharks Foundation staff as well leaders from the Valley Medical Center Foundation and Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Players are subject to change.
