COVID-19: how you can help
The County of Santa Clara is the largest provider of essential health services to vulnerable populations in our region. It is also coordinating the distribution of donated personal protective equipment for healthcare workers to all area hospitals and other high-risk environments.
If you are a nonprofit organization based in or serving San Jose residents and need free PPE, click here.
To support that effort, the Valley Medical Center Foundation has been designated as the official collection point for donations of dollars and materials to support frontline healthcare workers in Santa Clara County. Thanks to your donations, the VMC Foundation has supplied millions of items to local hospitals and healthcare organizations, and invested in testing gear, technology and protective equipment.
The COVID-19 threat is not over and your support is needed more than ever. There are many ways to help. Please do so today.
Like in any disaster, the best way to help is by making a financial contribution. Donations to the COVID-19 Emergency Response Fund will allow the Valley Medical Center Foundation to respond to emergency needs from physicians, first responders and local public health officials – sometimes within 30 minutes. All contributions are tax deductible. To give, click here now.
