The New VMC

Construction is underway on Valley Medical Center’s new patient bed buildings, made possible by the voters who approved Measure A in November 2008. Upon completion, SCVMC will add 550,000 square feet to existing capacity. The buildings will house adult acute and critical care units, in addition to the Rehabilitation Center.

Children and Youth

VMC is the largest provider of healthcare to children in this valley. The VMC Foundation is dedicated to making sure we can provide these children with the best care possible. We support innovative programs like Turning Wheels for Kids and the Medical-Legal Partnership Clinic, while raising funds to provide life-saving equipment for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and other pediatric services.

Wellness and Prevention

Healthcare is changing, and so is VMC. Long a leader in primary and preventative care, VMC continues to focus on maintaining health, not just treating illness and disease. The VMC Foundation supports numerous programs that promote health education and prevention, from the “Soda Free Summer” campaign to the Parisi House on the Hill, a recovery center for new moms with a history of alcohol and substance abuse.
